Wellness Mental Health & Disability Advocate

Hello and welcome!

I am Gianna Elms, LCSW, a mental health and disability advocate. I help adults with tele-therapy and on-site services experience peace and joy in their lives. Additionally, I train, supervise and consult with professionals and others on clinical matters, issues specific to disability rights and accessibility, and more.

I have an MSW in Social Work and have a valid license to practice as a Clinical Social Worker in Arizona and Missouri. I am also a qualified clinical supervisor in Arizona. Previous to my MSW, I earned an M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology and a B.S. in Disability Studies and have a valid certification to practice and supervise as a Rehabilitation Counselor nationwide. After receiving my MSW, I completed a Post-Graduate Fellowship in Psychoanalytic Thought and an ADA Coordinator Certification. My clinical experience includes crisis intervention, treatment of past abuse, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and psychogenic non-epileptic seizures (PNES); evaluation and treatment of mood, anxiety, alcohol and substance use disorders and chronic pain; career counseling, case management, advocacy, accommodations of people who experience disabilities, blindness and visual impairments; and training clinicians and others.

And finally, the subconscious is the mechanism through which thought impulses which are repeated regularly with feeling and emotion are quickened, charged and changed into their physical equivalent. You may voluntarily plant in your subconscious mind any plan, thought or purpose which you desire.

A mental health and disability advocate

Get accessible and personalized mental healthcare from the convenience of your home, clinical supervision/consultation, workshops for professionals, and more.

All of the methods that I use are evidence-based. My treatment approach is individualized based on your unique and specific needs. Some psychotherapy techniques are based in conscious, rational thought processes and others are based in working with the unconscious part of your mind. Professionals also receive training that is based on research, the law, and real-world experiences. Let’s talk about how I can help.

Providing you with private and accessible services.

I use tele-therapy to reach more people who want a private, secure, and convenient way to get help. Technology also makes it possible for clinicians and others to participate in workshops or consult with me in areas that I treat.

In-Person and Remote Options

Most appointments that I offer are possible with the use of technology, such as by telephone or audio or video conferencing. Concierge consultations are also available.
